About Me

Alex David Du

Hey! I’m Brazilian-born, half-Chinese, and fully obsessed with all things tech, gaming, and building stuff from scratch.

I grew up in Recife, Brazil, where I also studied Computer Science. My dad was Chinese and my mom Brazilian, and while I didn’t grow up deeply connected to Chinese culture, it’s always been part of my identity.

When I was 18, my dad passed away and that changed a lot for me. After some time dealing with grief and trying to figure life out, I started exploring new paths, both personally and professionally.

I spent several years working in IT support, handling English and Portuguese clients, before diving into the freelance world. Since then, I’ve worked as an SEO specialist, translator, and web developer all while still gaming late into the night.

Somewhere in between, I had the chance to visit China for the first time and meet my family there, which was a big moment for me.

Now I’m focused on the things I actually enjoy:

  • Playing games (I’m a Vladimir main in League of Legends 🧛‍♂️)
  • Writing about software, gaming, tech fixes, and weird bugs
  • Building stuff with Python, C#, and whatever else I find interesting
  • Sharing my honest thoughts about life, tech, and everything in between

This blog is where I throw all of that together from gaming and coding to random life takes. If you’re into practical tips, real experiences, and the occasional rant, welcome aboard.
